Harry
Harry is such a lovable boy. It took a little time for him to realise that we were there to care for him and that he would not have to search for food again. He loves his wet food and usually comes strolling over telling us many stories. He loves his wet food, especially the gravy. He has a cozy bed which we often find him in too. He is a bit of a bully with the other cats though but usually he is just to happy to have us as company to bother them.

William
William is a shy boy - we think he is deaf as we often find him in his bed when we take the lid off to change blankets and shake out the bedding. He no longer scatters when we find him but will walk a short distance away and wait for his feeding station and bed to be cleaned and topped up and for his wet food.

Halle
Halle is so pretty but her long hair gets full of Black Jacks which causes her fur to knot terribly. We try brush her whenever we see her and pull as many Black Jacks out as we can. At least her tail is fluffy again. She loves it when we come to feed and clean out the stations and beds and will come running from the top of the field to us.
Simba
Steel was so bullied and was always screaming in the background for food which we had to feed far away from the colony. He has now integrated into the colony is always so happy to see us that he comes running to the car and we have to watch where we drive! We can give this boy affection and brush him out often. He adores his wet food and is always first in line :)
Blackie
Blackie is just the sweetest girl ever. She is always to happy to see us, more for a cuddle and a brush than to eat. She is the last cat left of her colony and she will not allow any other cats in so she spends her days alone. She recognises the car and will come and wait for us so she can walk with us to her feeding station.
Tofo
Tofo was found with her eye that had popped out as a result of being hit by a car. She was rushed to the vet and had to have her eye removed. She is a friendly affectionate girl who loves spending time in the sun. She suffers with problems with her jaw now and again and then she needs treatment which is a result of the blow she took to the head.

Jingles
Jingles was born on a side of a very busy highway where a colony of 24 cats were found. How they had survived living there was thanks to a kind homeless man who would feed them scraps. We trapped the entire colony and managed to relocate them to two safe places. We went to go feed the cats on Christmas Day and found Jingles all alone and so we bought him back to HQ where he was bathed and fed and he has remained in our care since. A tiny cat with a heart of a lion who takes no nonsense from anyone.

Ginro
Ginro was found with an extremely painful mouth and needed a number of teeth extracted. Ginro had the teeth removed but he is still battling with his mouth. We paid for his dental procedure.
Timmy
Timmy was found wandering the streets on three legs. Seems he had his paw cut off and it was never seen to :( He suffers from terrible pain in the stump and will most probably require amputation. He is safe in foster care at the moment, while we try raise the funds for his amputation.
Sailor |
Little Sailor was rescued about three weeks ago and despite all efforts, his eye could not be saved. We need to raise about R2000 for little Sailors eye operation
|
Our supporters never cease to amaze us. We appreciate everything that everyone does for us. Little Sailor is doing so well and seems to be much happier after his eye operation. Thank you so much Ansie for your generous donation towards Sailor, we paid over the funds this evening to the vet. xx
